Have you had your Mee Rebus today?

Toast Box - 'Mee Rebus'

If you have not try their signature Mee Rebus from Toast Box, go for it today!

My friends and I decided to go to Toast Box located at the Atrium (Block 1), since we have not been there quite a while. I usually had my 'Nasi Lemak' or 'Mee Siam' there. However, this time I go for Mee Rebus!

Just looking at it, the texture of the spicy brown sauce is thick and starchy, topping up with fresh cut chilli, fried onions, parsley, tofu and 1/2 a hard-boiled egg. It looks so tempting that I quickly started mixing all the ingredients up and had my first bite, it's hard to tell how it taste like but it's definitely a bit spicy. The green cut chilli and bean sprouts give the crunchy feeling when I bite it and the noodle was cooked perfectly at the right temperature including the egg. Awesome! And I had a nice brewed 'Teh C' (hot condensed-milk tea).

The queue? It was fast this time round as there were no people in front of the queue and waiting time for my food is always on time. I could say that the staffs there are quite fast and swift while handling quite a few things from what I observed. Some more, the people sitting around were enjoying themselves with the food and environment there (sadly I forget to take pictures around the shop, but I have a stream of toast box photos from flickr below for you). With such a ambiance, my friends and I enjoyed our lunch there! We will even revisit the place because we could always find seats there:)

Food-o-meter: 9/10

Price: $3.40 (Mee Rebus) + $1.40 (Teh C)

Breakfast - The most important meal of the day

Breakfast Set @ Makan Place

Today the Foodlicious team is going to cover the most important meal of the day, breakfast!
We've been eating Makan Place's breakfast set for quite some time now, and we felt that we
should finally do a review.

For $2.00, the breakfast set comes with 2 eggs, 2 pieces of kaya toast, and a choice of drink.

The set is really worth it as its both tasty and filling, and let's face it, who doesn't love
egg and toast in the morning?

However, the eggs can be a little too runny if not cooked properly. As such, it would be advisable
to leave it to cook for a little longer than usual.

All in all, the breakfast set at Makan Place is really enjoyable, come get yours today!

Waffle @ Library Cafe

I went to the Library Cafe during my break and decided to have a Chocolate Waffle and a cup of Chocolate Ice Blended. (Yes, I'm indeed a Chocolate Lover!)

The waffle costs $1.50 while the drink costs $2.20.

The waffle took approximately 10 mins to be ready. It was piping hot when it was given to me! Loved how the waffle was crunchy and yet had a really milky taste. However, the filling was a disappointment. It was too little, and wasn't spread out evenly. I would give the waffle a rating of 2.5/5. It's quite a good buy if you were to be looking out for something to just fill your tummy! Maybe, to avoid dissapointment, you could ask for extra fillings! ;)

The drink was a perfect companion together with the waffle. It was heavenly! Be sure to grab a cup before lecture! It would definitely spice up a mundane day.

Noodles @ Munch

Noodles @ Munch that costs $3.20.

Munch, also known as Canteen 1 previously is one of the most convenient canteens around. We can't say much about it being crowded as almost all the canteen are quite populated during peak hours like Lunch times. I'm sure no one would disagree with me! My block is quite centralized and so, for lunch, I decided to head to Munch. All the shops were equally crowded and so, I decided to try something out of the ordinary. (I'm quite a regular at the Ayam Panggang stall there!) Hence, I decided to try the Noodles there!

These Noodles are something very ordinary. Just like the Maggi Noodles that all of can cook in the comfort of our very own homes. However here comes the twist! Together with the noodles, we would be able to pick 2 sticks of fried food/vegetables. There's quite a variety. On top of that, the noodles is served with Barbecue Sauce and Mayo. (As shown in the picture.)

I admit. I'm quite a Maggie Lover, so I loved the Noodles! The noodles are cooked with Egg. As you would all have known I'm a spice lover! Thus, I went on to get the Curry Flavoured Noodles. However, they have flavors like Kimchi and Chicken.

This meal's definitely a simple one, but it would definitely fill your tummy! Hurry head down to Munch tomorrow to try this! :)

Cereal Fried Rice @ PINES, Makan Place

Cereal Friend Rice the costs $3.50.

This dish is very well known and loved by our NP Students! As interesting as the name comes across to many, the dish is indeed very interesting. We would all have heard of Cereal Prawns! But, Fried Rice? That's something new, isn't it?

Just like anyone of you, I got very interested to try it! Though I didn't have to wait too long to order, I had to wait for about 10 mins before I got my food. (I only have 1 hour breaks, so the waiting time was quite a turn off!)

The fried rice mainly consists of Rice, together with Prawns, Squid and Egg. The friend rice is then topped with Cereal. I would say that the Fried Rice would be really normal without the cereal. It tastes like any other average fried rice that we would be able to get in the hawker centers. However, the cereal added a sweet taste to it, making it really special.

The chill that is provided is more of that Thai Chilli Sauce with Lime. Another addition that makes the friend rice more flavorful. Spice always makes the dish a shoe lot better and appeal more to the taste buds, at least for me!

I would rate this dish 4.5/5. I'm hoping real hard that you're gonna head down to the ever crowded Makan Place after reading this review to try this dish sometime soon! It's definitely worth the wait. A big promise. (:

Black Pepper Crab!!

Black Pepper Crab @ Bukit Timah Market.

Best supper dish ever!

The other, me and a couple of friends went to Bukit Timah Market after a late night of doing assignments and projects. Before we even sat down, the waft of black pepper drifted to our table. We then decided to order just one black pepper crab to try.

It was the best supper dish ever! It was spicy, a sweet aftertaste which made us go for more, and not before long the plate was wiped clean. The crab cost $15 and it was worth every cent.

Overall, I will give this dish 4.5 our of 5 stars for it's impeccably sauce and they served it quite fast too. I will come back to this stall for more years to come, and definitely try this stall's other dishes.

Simple yet Nice!

Sesame Chicken with Rice + Egg

Few days ago, I went to Makan Place for lunch again! There are many stalls where I can choose from, but I wanted to have something light and simple just like my home cooked food. Braised Sesame Chicken! Located all the way inside of the canteen.
The braised chicken have a smooth and soft texture, but not tender enough . I can smell sesame oil when I had the chicken and it tasted sweet with the (not so thick) dark soy sauce and very little spring onions. Although you can see that there is a layer of oil over the sauce, it doesn't feel oily at all because it blends in so well with the chicken and rice I had. As always, I like to have gravy on my rice which makes it wet and delicious to eat.

One thing that I will never forget is that I'm always get plenty of white rice from the stall auntie and the aunties there are really nice to their customers. When I was about to pay this meal to the auntie, a coin fell straight into my bowl of sesame chicken. And she straight away exchanged another bowl of chicken for me when she knew it, without me paying them. I felt so happy about their service and I really think they deserved to be thanked when they care about food. Moreover, their queue is always fast as they sell only three main dishes(curry chicken, sesame chicken & chicken broth). I remember that the temperature of their food they served is just hot. However, I noticed that their eggs were cooked before hand, so when I ordered, it was cold but still edible.
Overall, you can see that the presentation of this dish is not so clean. So I would give a rating of 6.5/10.
+
Mouthfuls: 30

And look at what I found! A funny chef cooking sesame chicken...

So what do you think about this meal?

Chicken Teriyaki from Splash n Decker!

Want to eat something light but filling during your breaks? Then why not try the Chicken Teriyaki sandwich from Splash n Decker?

This sandwich, made by the skillful aunties, is I would say one of the delicious sandwiches I've eaten. The chicken is tender and full of sauce. And it isn't oily at all! The mayo added extra taste to the chicken and veges proportion was just right. The bread is well toasted and crispy! This all-in-one healthy meal only cost $3.

The only negative point about this is the long queue but this means that the food is good right? This deserves a rating of 4 out 5! So why not head down to atrium's Splash n Decker and try one today?

Subway Tuna Sandwich.

Tuna sandwich from Subway @ Makan Place

"Welcome to Subway!" the greeting from the crew members from the most popular and healthy fast food restaurant in Singapore, in Ngee Ann! What I love about subway is that you get to customize you own sandwich and it's still healthy.

Tuna in six inched Parmesan Oregano with extra bacon, lettuce, tomato and cucumber, honey mustard and red wine vinaigrette only cost $5. Needless to say, this is delicious and very appetizing.

Also, you're served by the cheerful crew members, who will brighten up your day. I would give a rating of 4 out of 5.

Is your taste buds urging for some subway? So don't wait and head down to Makan Place!

Bean curd from Mr Bean

Bean curd from Mr Bean @ Munch.

Craving for some warm Tao Hui(bean curd) and a cold Tao Hui Zui (soybean drink)? Then head down to Munch for a snack!

The bean curd is rather bland as i guess less sugar made it healthier. The cold soybean drink is sweet can be a thirst quencher on warn and humid days. But I guess people head down to Mr Bean for their awesome pancakes and soybean ice creams! The bean curd and drink together only cost $3.20.
The bean curd has a rating of 3 out of 5.  So i would rather go for their pancakes next time. (:

Ayam Panggang... Mmm...

http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s480x480/526529_10150998512582600_728490110_n.jpg

Ayam Panggang@Makan Place

Feeling like having some Malay/Indonesian food? Well look no further, because today the
Foodlicious Team is going to cover a very delectable dish indeed, Ayam Panggang, here at
Makan Places Panggang stall!

I really loved their Ayam Panggang. Having tried it for the first time, the flavor of the sauce
really surprised me, having a strong taste, but not too over the top. It complimented the chicken and curry rice nicely.

I also appreciated the service of the staff, doing their job with a smile, and kindly obliging when
I requested for more sauce.

All in all, for a reasonable cost of $3.50, I feel that the students here at NP should definitely
check this stall out!

Toast Box Mee Siam

Mee Siam@ NP Toastbox

The Foodlicious team went down to Toastbox the other day for a quick lunch before rushing back to do our assignments. I ordered a Mee Siam Set meal w/o spring onion. The first thing the cashier did was to look and me saying " Spring onions? Mee Siam dont have Spring onions!" in a very rude manner. I thought to myself, " Maybe this is Toastbox's unique Mee Siam? No spring onions in it? ", thus I kept quiet and moved on to pay.

Then when i went to the counter collect my Mee Siam, and right below the bean sprouts was a pile of spring onions. The staff looked at the receipt and asked " You don't want spring onions right?" in broken english, " I replied " Yes" then she looked back at the plate and i know she saw the spring onions yet she gave it to me anyways! Is it that ToastBox Staff don't know what is spring onions????  On the receipt itself, wrote there " Mee Siam  w/o Spring onions" and yet she still handed the plate to me without exchanging it for the correct one. I still told her " I don't want spring onions" and she just gave a rude look and told me "Just take it!". Rather than argue with her, I took the plate because I had to rush back to do assignments.

The Mee Siam was okay, a different taste compared to the traditional Mee Siam. It was much more sour than the normal savoury taste but it helped to cut through the richness of the Mee Siam so it really quite good. But for $4.00++ for a plate, it was a measly portion, not even filling at all.

On the whole, I would give 4 out of 5 for the Mee Siam @ ToastBox but I wouldn't go there a second time because of it's horrible rude staff.

Where else have you experienced horrible service from the F&B Staff in NP ? Let us know below.

Pepper Lunch!

Pepper Lunch Express @ Munch

Beef Pepper Rice (Extra Meat) With Egg & Cheese
Have you every felt that your food doesn't taste up to your own standard? Well, Pepper Lunch Express over at Munch let you cook your own food!

That's right, you have to cook your own food and this time, you can't blame the chef for raw food.

This is a very interesting concept that allows you to have your food cooked to you likings.

Although this one of the most likely things you would have at Munch, the queue isn't worth the wait. Especially if you're having a 1 hour break.
The cashier queue may be short, but make sure you check the collection queue. Its normally one of the longest queues there. The average waiting time for your meal alone, assuming you're the only person who ordered there, takes anytime from 5 - 10 minutes.

I would recommend that if you want to have pepper lunch, make sure you have a long break or you've finished your classes.

Check out some pictures of our Pepper Lunch Meal

Otah Thick Toast @ Atrium's Toast Box

Otah Thick Toast Set sold at ToastBox which costs $4.20.

I've never been a breakfast person all my life till I came to Poly. ToastBox had a variety of Breakfast Sets that attracted my attention. The best part's that it's available right here, at Ngee Ann Poly! Awesome, eh?

I've always loved Otah by itself, but never did I once imagine that there would be something called Otah Toast. Being the adventurous sort, I decided to try it and I never regreted my decision.

The toast was not too hard nor soft. It was just nice. And the Otah was really fresh. It didn't smell fishy and was definitely really spicy! (Yes, I'm a spice lover. :D) I had to wait for a good 10 minutes, but I guess it was worth the wait.

There's something I love about the eggs in ToastBox! We don't t have to wait for 7 minutes to let the eggs be boiled like how we need it to be in Munch. In ToastBox, when it's given to us, it's already boiled and ready to be eaten.

The Milo was really thick and not the least diluted. However, if you're more of the hot drinks kinda person, you should get either Coffee or Tea, which would entitle you to get your set meal at $3.90!

Are you guys convinced enough to get your Mouth Watering Breakfast there? HEAD DOWN TO TOASTBOX NOW! ;)

Each a Cup @ LYC Library

Our Trip to the Library!

by Wei Thim & Aaron de Silva

The Foodlicious team was attracted by the smell of the waffles we decided to try one each.

The waffle was crispy and piping hot when we received it but none the less it was delicious.

The blueberry jam was sweet and appetizing however there wasn't enough on the waffle to make it a fantastic treat.

The Waffle cost just $1.50 which is totally worth buying.

Other than waffles, they also serve a variety of drinks. They have the standard milk tea to the unique snow shakes. For just under $2, this café at the Lien Ying Chow Library is one place you don't wanna miss while you're in NP.

I would  give each a cup 3 out of 5 for the variety of snacks and drinks they offer.

Mos Burger's Burgers!

Poolside - Mos Burger!

Having a craving for Western Food? Well, today the Foodlicious Team is going to cover Mos Burger's, well, burgers! We tried the Cheeseburger Meal and it was delicious! The burger, compared to other F&B stalls like
McDonald's and Burger King, tastes better and also feels like it's less oily.

Unlike other F&B stalls, Mos Burger gives us hungry customers the chance to change it up a little, offering other set meals like fries set, salad set, and croquette set.

Also, Mos Burger has Iced Milk Tea, where they provide milk for you to add in your drink.

And last but not least, I bought chicken, or Mos Chicken, as a side. I was pleasantly surprised by the chicken as not only was it juicy, it was just breast meat that they gave. In my personal opinion, it is better than other F&B outlets like KFC.

All this at an affordable price of  around $7! Come and get yours today!

Authentic Japanese Dishes sold at NP!

Poolside Canteen: Fried-o Sakana Donburi

Hey everybody! Today, I'm going to introduce you to this meal that is definitely worth eating. Why?
The whole set only cost 4 dollar where I can fill my stomach for the rest of my afternoon listening to lectures. Although this is my first time trying, I would say that I like the way they cook their Japanese food as it gives me a taste more like a Chinese Cantonese dish. They serves just the right portion of Japanese rice where hungry people like me would go for it! Their steaming hot rice is topped with some onions and very light brown sauce which I find it special about the taste. Together with three pieces of fried fish and strips of seaweed on top, the meal is pretty simple as the fish is neither too fried nor oily but fresh. Oh and...not forgetting about the miso soup which taste different from what outside usually have. The soup is salty (just like cantonese soups) and has my favourite seaweed inside too but it does balance out the whole course which makes me feels that the miso soup tasted good enough. Moreover, what a Japanese meal without Chawamushi!? That's why I can't miss it. Their Chawamushi is the one that I long waited for from what I had from elsewhere. It simply only consists of crab meat and button mushroom, however, the steamed egg is soft like bean curd! It's like what you usually get from the mixed rice stall steamed egg. But it's nicer in a mini bowl.
That's all I have and here's my ratings for this delicious meal:
Food-o-meter: 9/10
Mouthfuls: 23
Course: Main/Lunch
Health rating: 9/10
Price: $3 (Sakana Donburi & Soup) + $1 (Chawamushi)

Just telling you that the Japanese Dish stall may have promotion rate like what I had(: Give it a try and tell me what you like about this!

Why not have a great breakfast before school?

KAP Spinelli - French Croissant with Egg

This time round, Jia Le and I decided to explore the Spinelli Coffee Company which is right across our school, since we always wanted to try something new. And we found this cafe just right beside MacDonald at level 2 of the eateries available. This week, I tried their breakfast menu, French Croissant and Scrambled Egg with a cup of freshly brewed Mocha (Espresso, guittard cocoa & steamed milk).

From what I drank, the coffee gave a rich and strong bitter flavour of the coffee mixed with cocoa, unlike mocha from elsewhere which is sweet and chocolatey. But, I prefer sweet ones.

I would say that the golden-brown toasted croissant I had were really crispy and nice which goes well with my favourite scrambled egg. And the egg taste light and fluffy when I put it into my mouth. Moreover, the portion given was just right with a small side salad.

However, the ordering system there is very similar to Starbucks where it's self-service. If you been there before, they have delicious desserts displayed over at the counter too and you get to enjoy your food with music and comfortable sofa there.

Here's my rating!
Food-o-meter: 8.5/10
Mouthfuls: 14
Course: Breakfast
Health rating: 10/10
Price: $10.80

Sakae Sushi Opening soon!

Did you know that Sakae Sushi is opening at NP?

http://www.sakaesushi.com.sg
While we've been posting loads of yummy food food around NP, we at Foodlicious thought that it would be nice to talk about something thats not opened yet.

Although we do not know how different Sakae Sushi at NP would be like, we are confident that the restaurant would be as good as those around Singapore.

Lets talk food at Sakae Sushi in general. Sakae Sushi offers a wide range of dishes. For example, if we were to talk about Salmon, they have 5 different dishes with salmon. If i'm not wrong, I believe that they have the most variety of food in NP.
Download the full menu (.pdf): Delivery Flyer

For those still living under the rock, Sakae Sushi will be at OurSpace@72 and will open in 2013.

Can't wait for Sakae Sushi? or itching to say something? Post it in the comments below.

Beef Lasagne

King Albert Park- Spinelli Coffee Company.

Janson and I went to King Albert Park (KAP) today and on a impulse entered Spinelli Coffee Company (Right beside Mcdonalds) . The first thing that hits us was the fragrant smell of freshly grounded coffee and a table with 6-8 different kinds of cakes. And we are not talking about your average blackforest or cheese cakes, we are talking about freshly baked (and still hot!) apple crumble and lemon cake. We had to resist because we came in to try the beef lasagne and Egg and toast.

Although it took rather long for the food to come, I didn't realized it took a long time at all. Maybe it was the company or more likely the atmosphere. It was so calming and relaxed (I'm making it my new favorite study place) and that's why i didn't realize it took so long although it took more than 45mins to come. The beef lasagne was delicious! The beef sauce, cheese and pasta came together in harmony, it was really good although it was quite expensive, at a price of $9.80 (Frown)! I have to admit, I'm not a salad person, unlike Janson, so i didn't really enjoy the salad.

Overall I will give this dish a 4.5 out of 5 stars. This with a cup of vanilla latte and I'm in heaven. I will definitely come back for more!

Fried Chicken with Spicy Tofu

Makan Place - Fried Chicken with Spicy Tofu

Situated beside the pizza stall in Makan place, lies the HotPlate Stall. It sells many different kinds of hotplate dishes like Fried Chicken and Tofu hotplate. It cost just $3.50 which is value for money for it's portion. But sadly the dish isn't that great.

The spicy tofu tasted like mush with chilli sauce poured on it, it also didn't look very appealing as well. The tofu was all mushed up. The fried chicken was okay but wasn't really special. The soup on the other hand was actually not that bad. It was like a preserved vegetable soup which cut into the richness of the spicy tofu dish.

Overall, I would give this 2 out of 5 stars for it's mushy strong aftertaste.

Japanese @ Makan Place

Ebi Don and Chawanmushi from Makan Place!

The Ebi don costing $3.50 along with the Chawanmushi, which cost $1.20, adds up to a great price of $4.70! The chawanmushi is texture is soft and consistent, and almost the same standard as Sakae Sushi's. The rice is not dry as they give plenty of sauce. The Ebi is evenly fried and goes well with the sauce. All in all, i would say this meal is worth buying.

Wayadori Spaghetti

Japanese Stall- Wayadori Spaghetti

Modern Japanese food with a unique twist!

Today, the Foodlicious team invaded PoolSide@NP and I tried the Wayadori Spaghetti there. Generally, Japanese food don't include spaghetti but this stall gave a unique twist to the normal Fried Chicken Ramen. By changing the noodles to spaghetti, the sauce to creamy cheesy sauce and interestingly delicious seaweed to the mix! Not the thin seaweed strips you usually buy from your local mini mart but fresh seaweed into the mix.

The sauce was delicious, it was some kind of cheesy cream sauce, it wasn't too creamy for my taste and you could taste the cheese in it. The noodle on the other hand was as good, it was tough and definitely not Al dente. It wasn't even hot, letting me to believe the noodle was under-cooked. The chicken was great! But it is just your regular frozen chicken pieces bought from the local supermart, nothing special there.

Overall, the seaweed & sauce was an interesting twist to the dish but the noodles and chicken let it down. I would give it a rating of just 2.5 out of 5.

Kaki Fuyong

Kaki Fuyong!

Today we are doing a review on Makan Place's Japanese Cuisine's dish, Kaki Fuyong!

This dish is served with omelette with chicken and comes with rice and soup,
all costing a very reasonable price of 3.50!

Of course, one can have a choice of oyster or prawn instead of chicken.

The omelette goes very well with the chicken, and it's what I usually order if i have
lunch at their stall.

Of course, some might say (including my friends) that the meal is slightly too salty,
but if one can look, or "taste" past that, then Kaki Fuyong is a very enjoyable meal.
Do you enjoy Kaki Fuyong? Let us know what you think in the comment section below.

Poolside: Chicken Rice

Chicken Rice @ Poolside!

Not sure what to have for lunch? Or you're just thinking of saving you money? Well, nothing beats the classics. Chicken Rice! The classic food that almost everyone has when they just don't know what to eat. This chicken rice has a somewhat different taste compared to other places in Singapore. I personally find the chicken rice "rice" very fragrant and the chicken, both steam or roasted, the right texture that blends nicely with the rice. You can never go wrong when ordering this typical singaporean food. For only $2.30, this is probably the cheapest food you can find in NP! Go check out the chicken rice stall at Poolside.

So, what do you think about this chicken rice?

Subway Eat Fresh! Eat Healthy!

Beef Pastrami Sub!

Beef Pastrami Sub <3
Hey everyone out there! Here's my review on what I had in my school.

Recently, I had my Beef Pastrami Sub from a Subway outlet in my school "Makan Place" (the largest canteen in NP), since it's back this time round. And I ordered a set meal which comes together with a choice of either a soft drink and cookies or a soft drink with chips, so I felt like having some extra food going into my stomach and I chose the Doritos Nacho Cheese chip and passion fruit tea drink!

Usually, I would prefer Hearty Italian bread which gives a outer layer of crisp. With that, subway adds on to normal cheese, meat, fresh tomato, lettuce, barbecue sauce and not forgetting the pepper which brings out the taste of the beef. Overall, the combination I had weren't too bad as it was slightly salted and it's really tasty. Do try this before it's over!

Moreover, I have some ratings to give too!
Food-o-meter: 8/10

Splash N Decker

Calling all dessert lovers!

This post goes out to you sweet tooth's out there.

Splash N Decker serves a variety of food from sandwiches to box sets and even a cake for any occasion. Well I can tell you we did celebrate a birthday in our class and we bought the Coco Exotic cake from Splash N Decker. This cake has a few layers that will surely excite your tastebuds with every bite. The first layer is a crunchy biscuit that gives this cake a balance of both soft and crunchy texture. This is sandwiched between a light sponge cake followed with a chocolate cake layer above the  chocolate cream. To top it all, it has a smooth layer of chocolate glaze on top which gives this cake the ultimate finish. This sinful chocolate cake that even you know, as well as I do, is a must for any occasion!

So are you gonna buy this cake? Let us know if you are and why in the comments.

Chicken Chop from Henry Western @ Poolside!

I consider this dish as healthy as the chicken meat is not very fatty and it has salad and mash potato for its side dish. The meat is tender and it doesn't get stuck to your teeth, and the portions are just enough to fill your tummy! This yummy chicken chop from Henry Western only cost $4.90, which I feel is value for money. Do drop by Henry Western and try this! :D

Dried Chilli Chicken with Rice

This set meal above is from Taiwan Sedap @ Makan Place which costs $3.60.

The meal mainly consists of a plate of Rice, Dried Chilli Chicken dish and a bowl of soup.I shall not say much about the rice as it passed the criteria it needed to, in my opinion - to be cooked without it being too soft, or too hard.

The Dried Chilli Chicken was extremely delicious. Not only was the Chicken tender, soft and fresh, it also had a very subtle taste of the dried chill in it. On top of that, the sweet sauce that was used to cook it toned the dried chilli's taste by quite a bit.

The soup was really interesting! It was not just like the normal chicken rice soup that I was expecting. It turned out to be a salty soup. Something which goes along pretty well with the Dried Chilli Chicken dish, I would say!

Oh yes, chilli/spice lovers! This would be a perfect choice for you. This meal's definitely worth a try. I would give it an overall rating of 3/5.

What do you think? let us know in the comments.
